If we take all the history that we know - this is, approximately, the XIV-XV centuries and further, here... So I collect different books.
There are books of the XVI-XVII centuries, which are just a discovery even for an educated modern person. There are detailed maps, there is knowledge about the world that is quite serious. And I can't even believe that it was written 300 - 400 years ago.
But we still use facts from textbooks written by people who died 300 - 400 years ago.
We use mathematics that is 300-400 years old. Arithmetic - Magnitsky... Here's another Pushkin and Lermontov studied these textbooks.
So what's the difference? A hundred or two hundred years ago, that was enough and this continuity continued.
And any elder was a bearer of knowledge, because he was a bearer of experience.
And any teacher was an absolute teacher. And any engineer - of the old school of engineering - he was not like now an "engineer in something", but he was an intelligent, in the full sense of the word, a person. He had an understanding of the world, knowledge of the world order.
At the moment, the situation has changed radically.
An adult has ceased to be a bearer of this knowledge, because a child has gained access to a source of information, independently of the adult.
Now, starting from the 5th grade, if the child has access to the phone, during the lesson he can return a bunch of questions to the teacher or see that something is wrong. A completely different way of life appears.
And if earlier the father was the bearer of the "social lift" - inheriting the profession was the main task, now this mechanism is completely broken.
Firstly, the man ceased to be the owner, because he lost the household. And secondly, having lost the economy, he lost power over his family. He ceased to be the master and unconditional authority in his family, because the family ceased to be complete.
Naturally, a child for whom the father is genetically the bearer of unconditional authority, realizing at a certain age that he is not this authority, is disappointed.
Further - the conflict between fathers and children is described in the literature. The radicalism of youth is explained by the fact that they are youth and must be radical.
But before we knew what a grandfather, a father can do, but today a child comes home and he does not know what you are doing at work, you don’t pass on this knowledge to him.
We are already witnessing a change in several technological orders, and even more radical changes are ahead.
It is believed that up to 70% of jobs that now provide income, primarily for men, will simply not exist. Because the world is becoming different.
We have allowed to raise a generation of the most unadapted to real life in the entire history of civilization.
But we throw them in the most severe evolutionary, technogenic period, that is, when children will not be influenced by our experience of counteracting the external environment, but by a technogenic experience that even we ourselves cannot cope with and do not know how to cope with.
This is the most severe period in evolution. And the future depends on the state in which we get out of it.
And that's a generational question. This is only a generation.
Because if we fail, then we enter the world of transhumanism - this artificial world, digital, virtual, and so on, where neither so many people nor their experience and knowledge is needed, because everything has been digitized and recorded long ago".
