Question of the day: why in Russia there are so few recovered and so many sick with coronavirus?

According to statistics, people in our country not only rarely die because of the coronavirus, but rarely recover too.

Popular blogger Valery Petrov in his post drew attention to the strangeness in pandemic statistics. He was embarrassed that in most countries the number of people who recovered was at least half of those infected, and often even more. For example, in Germany almost all patients recovered, and in Turkey - more than 50%.

Yes, the peak of incidence there has already passed, unlike Russia, but nevertheless: why in our country so few people recover, and mortality is also very low? - the blogger wonders.

Perhaps the statistics for other countries do not take into account asymptomatic patients, or they are taken into account, but in the “recovered” column, while in Russia the identified asymptomatic patients are considered sick, despite the fact that 2 weeks after they “fell ill” they should be taken into account in the “recovered” column ...

So far, something in these statistics does not converge: the number of "sick" is not equal to the number of "recovered and dead." Therefore, the percentage of recovered is so low, the blogger is sure. True, one of the commentators hastened to refute these calculations: “Those who are still being treated in the hospital are being treated on an outpatient basis, and for which all negative tests have not been received - they cannot be written to the recovered, they are all taken into account in the active phase (sick) . So far, in terms of numbers, it all just agrees: 125817 (sick) + 18095 (recovered) + 1356 (dead) = 145268 (all identified) ... "
