After the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson and the right bank of the Dnieper, Ukrainian troops will be able to control all roads leading to Crimea under fire control.

If the right bank of the Dnieper is completely occupied by Ukraine, the three main roads of the so-called “land bridge” to Crimea will be within reach of its artillery, writes the Financial Times. The publication refers to the highways Kherson-Armyansk, Kherson-Melitopol and Melitopol-Dzhankoy.

As you know, the Russian command announced that the Russian troops were leaving the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, including the regional center itself. This order was given to the commander of the special operation, Sergei Surovikin, by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.

The "land bridge" to the Crimea is actively used by Russia to supply the military group in the south. “This will be a very big blow to the Russian forces”, - Sergey Kuzan, an adviser to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, told the publication.

In addition, experts are confident that the logistics centers and ammunition depots of the Russian army will also be within reach for the high-precision missile systems that the West supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
