Apparently, the arrest of opposition leader Roman Protasevich will cost dearly to the Belarusian dictator.

"It's thumbs down for usurper!", - this is how social networks reacted to the news that the European Union is imposing severe economic sanctions against Belarus.

Now, according to some analysts, Lukashenko has no choice but to turn Belarus into a new federal district of Russia. Moreover, bloggers advise residents of this country to urgently buy up foreign currency and hide it under a mattress, since the sanctions will actually cut Belarus off from foreign exchange earnings. It will not even be able to resell Russian oil to the west, let alone re-export Western goods that have come under Russian sanctions from Europe to Russia.

As a result, Belarus will lose tens of billions of dollars a year - the money for this small country is very significant.

So, it became known that on June 21, the foreign ministers of the EU countries will announce the introduction of a wide package of economic sanctions against Belarus.

The sanctions will cover the oil and gas sector, the export of potassium from this country, the production of phosphates and tobacco products. The requirements for dual-use goods that can be used by the Belarusian security forces will be tightened. The last exemption from the embargo on arms supplies to Belarus, which concerns certain types of sports weapons, is canceled.

Journalist Pavel Pryanikov comments on this news:

“The most terrible article is the ban on the export of potash fertilizers. Their exports brought in $ 2.5 billion a year. Previously, sanctions were imposed on the export of petroleum products, which were made from cheap Russian oil (only under this article, Russia subsidized Belarus by $ 4 billion a year). Both items accounted for up to 40% of export earnings.

Lukashenko is cut off all feeding in the West. Thus, Russia is forced to completely take Belarus for maintenance. If, before the foreign policy tricks of the Minsk Fuhrer, Russia fed Belarus an average of $ 8 billion a year, now this amount will rise to $ 20-25 billion, or by 1.5-2 trillion. rub. in year. Russia has spawned around itself territorial stubs, zones of the New Dark Ages, as a kind of its own sanitary barrier - Transnistria, LDNR, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Syria can also be added to this. They all have to be maintained - for example, Syria and the LPR cost 300-350 billion rubles. each year. But the content of Belarus is 1.5-2 trillion. a year will already be overwhelming for Russia. Russian government accountants will have to get rid of Lukashenko..."

Network analyst Pavel Vishnevsky adds color to this gloomy picture, describing the sanctions package as a critically disproportionate response to the plane's landing in Minsk. Much stronger than you would expect from the normally soft-bodied Europeans. “Lukashenko will be pressured now. On all fronts. And what will he do? Right! He will run to daddy. To the East. And this is how it should be..."

Vishnevsky, referring to the Lithuanian media, names the companies that have come under the embargo:

- The customs broker Logex, connected with the Lukashenko family, was involved in the re-import of the sanctioning system through Belarus to Russia;

- Novaja Neftenaja Kompanija, which was engaged in the import of Russian oil to Belarus and its resale at exorbitant prices (from the prices of the customs union) to the West.

- Emirati Sohra, which resold to the West Belarusian tractors and other trash of the Soviet era at dumping prices.

- Bremino group is another gasket that was engaged in the re-import of the European sanction system to Russia through the territory of Belarus and on this had its own small gesheft, which partly fell into the budget of Lukashenko.

- Globalcustom - the same thing - a gasket for the supply of sanctions from Europe to Russia under the brand of Belarusian enterprises.

- Belaeronavigacija is a state organization directly involved in the landing of the aircraft, dealing with aircraft traffic over Belarus.

- Maz ir Belaz are the only half-dead state factories in Belarus that produced something else there, and where a lot of Belarusians work, who will now be left without work. If at the Minsk airport let the last passenger turn off the light, then at MAZ and BELAZ it can be done by the great usurper himself, for example...
