About psychopaths in law and narcissists who don't need to be rescued

In Russia, excesses on a national basis have become more frequent. I state with regret that some of the nationalists have begun to play on the systemic field. Anti-migrant rhetoric is a classic, and most importantly, a universal way of channeling public discontent towards “outsiders”.
Сюжет
Migrants

Alina Vitukhnovskaya, writer

This is nothing more than repressive transference and Stockholm Syndrome at the same time. For for the authorities, you, nationalists, are exactly the same outsiders (if not more so) as you position migrants. And thanks to your efforts, including your efforts, the intensity of criticism in relation to the authorities is shifted to the side, to its power, its unconditional benefit.

On the other hand, a number of Democrats have “decisively dissociated themselves” from the nationalists. So they write “there is only us”. Referring to the successful experience of the 90s. But without nationalists there would not have been 90s. Everyone here was useful to everyone. This was a genuine public consensus worth repeating. But taking into account and high-quality study of previous mistakes.

The plainclothes writer Zakhar Prilepin, who is also an accomplice in war crimes, threatens with reprisals. And already to the subscribers of their Facebook. So, to the question of the writer and journalist Auren Khabichev: “Zakhar, when you come to power, will you start repressions? And if so, what category of the population will fall under them? " Prilepin replied: “You are already on the black list. They'll figure it out there".

Auren Khabichev himself admits that "the writer is joking", "after all, there must be something human in him." So the humanity of the post-Soviet Reds is this monstrous infantilism (“When we come to power”), multiplied by clinical aggressiveness. In a country in which real repressions are already taking place, though not on the scale that the authorities would like, such "jokes" sound like a systemic signal for action.

By the way, within the framework of pop psychology, Prilepin behaves like a classic psychopath. But the psychopath is “in law”. True, there is nothing to treat him for. He only behaves this way because he is allowed to be so. I have already written about psychopaths who are labeled as "sick" in the interests of expanding psychiatry, but not in the interests of science and common sense. The same can be said for daffodils.

It should be noted separately that in general, this kind of typological simplifications of people, as a rule, are a profanation. Because no one person can be reduced to a single model. In the case of the narcissist, who even from the descriptions of psychologists looks like an almost ideal person, it is generally not clear why they want to treat and save him?

And the chest just opened. Behind the concepts of good and evil imposed by society, there is a doctrine of almost religious nature, declaring the primacy of the general over the particular. Therefore, the individual is imposed on goals that are not his goals. He literally has to love everyone, and if he doesn’t love, then he should feel flawed. What is the imposition of prescribed feelings if not a form of stifling authoritarianism?

In the new Middle Ages, the role of the Inquisition is no longer performed by the notorious punitive psychiatry, but its soft version - crafty pop psychology. It grew out of the false attitudes of Freud and Fromm, conceived as the antithesis of totalitarianism and itself became totalitarian. For in a closed worldview system, any phenomenon inevitably turns into its opposite.

And how does the average person react to the dictatorship? He, as if nothing had happened, hesitating nothing, continues to perform ritual actions. The life of a man in the street, in principle, almost all consists of rituals. But the Soviet chooses from them the most senseless, absurd, and even downright harmful.

For example, preservation - both vegetable - all these cucumbers, tomatoes, and dessert - mashed berries and preserves, is nothing more than a desperate attempt to preserve, preserve yourself. Literally - to prolong its existence. Well, indeed, how much Sisyphean labor has been invested in these jars!

This reminds me very much of the processes that accompanied mummification in Ancient Egypt, when the internal organs of the mummies were kept in separate vessels. Only the Egyptians associated their bodies with bodies, albeit dead ones, prepared for the afterlife, but here they identify themselves directly (!) With vegetables. What will be left of these people? Shelves of cans of dead fruit of useless labor? Refrigerator stickers?

Against the background of all this, the situation with Middle Eastern refugees on the border of Belarus and Poland is terrifying with blatant cruelty, especially for the mild and, alas, formally humane XXI century. How can this problem be resolved? Purely political. It has no solutions within the framework of ordinary social practices. But apart from the political and administrative spheres, this problem also has an existential dimension. We are faced with absolutely lost people, people without a homeland, without a future, without protection.

I constantly recall the recently read book by the German and Russian writer, psychologist and publicist Nune Barseghyan "Who should be considered the swimmers". In the book of Nune, a whole new unknown section of society appears before us. Which has existed for so long, but was virtually invisible to us. He did not even have his own language, his own symbolism to express himself in the cultural space. Refugees, migrants, LGBT people and even asexuals are the new outsiders. But outsiders without existence.

If for a modern successful person the problem of existence is removed by civilizational benefits and the notorious consumer society, then from unsuccessful people it is literally ripped off by the discomfort of everyday life. They simply do not have an internal reserve for "more subtle" suffering. Therefore, to describe the hell in which they live, a dry statement of facts is enough. Which is what Nune does like the new Camus.

In addition to migrants, Nune describes the life of immigrants from the USSR to which she belongs:

“Nastya often thought that the wall might not have fallen, and the USSR, too, and the borders would not have opened. and what would it be then, is it clearly different? Sometimes it seemed to her that she had split in two, having moved here with her parents in childhood, another Nastya grew up in Russia and became a completely different person, if you meet, you will not know".

The Soviet Union, like all socialist countries - according to my (and not only) childhood memories - this is the focus of discomfort, neglect, dullness, dampness, oddity, twisted. A bad life in the future always gives a kind of distortion of the mind, a kind of wormhole, which here, in Russia, out of habit, is sacralized, calling it spirituality. But this is not spirituality, but a kind of illness. Russia, and already the whole world, will have a long and difficult treatment.
