In Moscow the procedure for obtaining and using digital passes was approved - measures are being introduced to combat the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Pedestrians do not need such documents yet, they will be needed only for trips.

Registration will begin on Monday, April 13, and from Wednesday these documents will become mandatory, the channel reports. "Russia 24" . The same measures are being introduced in the Moscow region. You can order passes on the mos.ru portal or on uslugi.mosreg.ru. Digital documents are divided by type: for trips to work, to the hospital, as well as to the store or for other matters.

The pass is valid in the capital and region. In addition, the traffic police crews are on duty at the entrances to Moscow. Inspectors ask car drivers with license plates from other regions about the purpose of visiting the city.

You can get a digital pass in three ways: either on the mos.ru portal, or by sending SMS to 7377, or by calling +7 (495) 777-77-77. Indicate, among other things, you will need first name, middle name and last name, passport details, mobile phone number. For movement by personal transport - vehicle number. On the public - the number of the card "Three" or "Arrow", if any. And most importantly - you need to identify the purpose of the trip.

Those who are sent to work will be issued with passes until April 30 inclusive. Round trips are allowed, as well as service trips. If you need to visit a medical facility, a pass can be obtained for one day, but their number per week is not limited.

For trips for personal purposes - for example, to a store or to the country house - a pass will also be issued for one day, for a round trip. This category can be obtained twice a week. When checking, you need to show the received digital pass on the smartphone screen or its printout, as well as present a passport.

Digital passes are not required for those under the age of 14. The right to travel without such passes will be for military, police, judges and other employees who have state-issued certificates. It will be possible to walk on foot without a pass to everyone, but at the same time follow the established rules and restrictions.

From April 15, a digital pass will be needed not only for drivers in Moscow and the region, but also for each passenger. According to the head of the Moscow department of trade and services, Alexei Nemeryuk, this applies to both personal cars and taxis. An electronic document is also needed for trips by bicycle or electric scooter. And if a citizen enters the store on the way to the cottage or from the cottage, then a separate pass is not needed for this: such a stop is considered to be intermediate, and an already issued document is enough for it.
