The number of people infected with coronavirus in Moscow exceeded 10 thousand people

"The number of patients with coronavirus in Moscow has reached 10158 people," RIA Novosti reports . " It is noted that 687 people recovered from coronavirus infection in Moscow in total, 72 people died."

The Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Anastasia Rakova, noted that even though these patients had to be discharged, it was still necessary to remain under the supervision of doctors, they were given appropriate recommendations.

At the same time, in the capital over the past day 1306 new cases of coronavirus were detected, in the Moscow suburbs near Moscow - 278 cases, in St. Petersburg - 69 new infections. In total, over the last day in Russia, the number of newly confirmed cases of coronavirus infection reached 2,186 people in 52 regions of the country.

The number of people who recovered from coronavirus in Russia reached 1291; 246 patients were discharged from hospitals per day. But already 130 people died from coronavirus throughout Russia, including 24 people over the past day. 146 thousand people are under medical supervision because of suspected coronavirus infection in Russia, 94.3 thousand tests for the detection of the virus were carried out per day. In total, over 1.2 million people have been examined in Russia.

The operational headquarters in Moscow also recalled that from April 13 to 19 a number of additional bans and restrictions were introduced in the capital. The work of most city organizations is temporarily limited or terminated altogether, except for state authorities, medical organizations, food and medical industry enterprises, manufacturers of personal protective equipment, key defense industry enterprises, the space and nuclear industries, and critical infrastructure. Starting tomorrow, digital passes will be required to travel around Moscow by private or public transport. Similar measures were introduced in the Moscow region.
