Putin: the situation with coronavirus is changing "not for the better"

Presentations were made by the members of the operational headquarters for combating the pandemic: Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

"All of us see that the situation is changing almost daily and unfortunately not for the better. The number of sick people is increasing, and more and more cases of the disease are severe," said Vladimir Putin.

Tatyana Golikova thanked Vladimir Putin for “constantly keeping abreast of events.”

The President instructed the Cabinet to update the forecast for coronavirus and report to it daily. Also, if necessary, President Putin allowed the government to use the resources of the Ministry of Defense.

On April 13, the number of coronavirus infections in Russia per day increased by 2558, the total number of cases is 18 thousand 328 people.
