The massive return of Chinese citizens from Russia, which is now experiencing its own surge in infections, has caused the strongest monthly increase in new cases in China.

According to Chinese officials, among those who recently arrived in Russia, 98 new cases of infection were registered. The vast majority of these people are Chinese citizens, rushing to return to their homeland after China reopened the air border.

So, for example, Aeroflot flight Moscow - Shanghai, which arrived on April 10, 60 people arrived with a positive test result, all were immediately sent to quarantine.

From today, China has closed its last land crossing in Suifenhe, a small town on the border with the Primorsky Territory, from where the Chinese used to come to their homeland, who flew to Vladivostok for canceling Moscow’s flights.

On Sunday, the Chinese consulate in Vladivostok reported that 243 Chinese citizens infected with coronavirus had already crossed the border. So many cases of the disease have appeared in the Chinese border lands that local authorities have opened a temporary hospital to solve this problem.
