On April 15, the Moscow metropolitan railway literally turned into the Deathpolitan. Not to mention the fact that the authorities condemned people to crowds by the idiotic pseudo-security measures, and the crowd itself did not really care about their lives and health. Moscow is a metropolis where the Russian middle class is concentrated. As far as it is generally featly to talk about the middle class in a rapidly impoverished country. Therefore, the excuses of citizens from the series “need to feed a family” seem to me somewhat strained. In a situation where there is a real threat to life, the need to earn an extra couple of thousand is, to put it mildly, unconvincing.
This neurosis of the fear of poverty, acquired by the population in recent years, has turned into a self-destructive necrophilic passion. And here I recall Nagibin, who described the Soviet man as not appreciating his and other people's lives, and Zinoviev with his “homosovieticus”. It is curious that the Soviet man himself as a phenomenon actually evaporated in the 90s and reappeared at the beginning of the two thousandth, but not in large quantities. That is, if you look around, we will see quite normal, civilized people. This, in fact, we and our friends. But there is a gray mass of faceless elements, some secret dark minority, or, on the contrary, the majority - according to the situation. This mass comes to life and gains strength at critical moments in history. This lower “revolutionary” class in a bad sense sits at the bottom in good times, but crawls out in times of crisis. Therefore, when the COVID-19 pandemic began in Russia, shops and streets suddenly filled with flocks of homeless people, alcoholics, drug addicts, as if from an old Fincinder movie. People rushing in the subway - not only and not so much hard workers. This is that depressive-suicidal neurotic crowd that, as in the classic zombie horror, wants to latently kill itself, as well as to take the maximum number of victims to hell.
In general, what is happening, full of deep symbolism, more and more resembles "The Mist" written by Stephen King. Starting from the riots in the colonies, which always take place in Russia during historical breakdowns, ending with a fire in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. By the way, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant itself is a symbol of the collapse of the Soviet empire. Let me remind you that the work of Stephen King “The Darkness”, very accurately and colorfully illustrates the embodied images of the mass unconscious, for a long time lurking in the depths of human souls. The nightmarish insects and pterodactyls that surrounded the crowded supermarket (here we see an allusion to the "consumer society") supposedly arose from a natural cataclysm, but in reality they became materialized projections of chimeras of a clouded human mind. So coronavirus is the embodied unconscious, created artificially as a weapon with the unconscious goal of suicide (!). Erich Fromm, with his interpretation of necrophilia, seems like an innocent researcher next to this “masterpiece” of modern “intelligence”.
I am skeptical of Erich Fromm and his theory seems pretentious, hypertrophied and generally strained. It was a kind of hypercompensatory response to the horrors of war, as, in fact, the whole psychoanalysis of that time. However, the fact that totalitarianism and passion for death are interconnected has been confirmed in the current reality. For, I have no doubt that the coronavirus originated in the Chinese military laboratory .
I think that the phenomenon of the newly revived homosoveticus will still be studied in detail by anthropologists and psychologists. From this point of view, not only artificially created clusters of thoughtless people on the streets and in the metro are interesting, but also cases of outrageous journalistic “heroism”. It’s like an interview with various sharks of a pen from the very epicenter of infection - a clinic with the red-demonic name “Kommunarka”. After all, all these materials could be prepared remotely.
Special attention also deserves the character of the Soviet "doctor" who jumped into the arena of the infernal Russian circus. As soon as the next video of the full-time propagandist Krasovsky from Kommunarka appears, two questions immediately arise. Why does Dr. Denis Protsenko infected with coronavirus continue to work, communicate with staff, patients and journalists? The second question, inevitably following from the first. Maybe Protsenko is not sick and we are dealing with deliberate insinuations in the framework of the special project “Kommunarka”, which has as its goal another “noble” lie so beloved by everyone?
If Protsenko is ill, he must be isolated and undergo treatment followed by quarantine. If he continues to work, the question arises of his adequacy, qualifications and professional reputation. And if he is healthy, then he is simply a propagandist (!) And, moreover, not a doctor. Only now has information passed that Protsenko was allegedly cured, however, this whole story continues to remain generally dubious and opaque.
It seems that inside these reckless "heroes" some eternal archetypal Maresyev laughs. Indeed, this kind of heroism in the modern world has long turned into a deviation. And only in Russia does this phenomenon receive social approval.
