Andrey Nalgin: the authorities will celebrate the victory over COVID–19 at our expense

Network analyst Andrei Nalgin tells in his blog about how one of his acquaintances left Moscow to self-isolate with his family 200 kilometers from the capital. However, nothing of the kind! Her husband got a call with the demanded to urgently pick up his 88-year-old father from the Veterans House, that is going to be redesigned into a coronavirus hospital. Given that the father-in-law has a lot of diseases, self-isolation in a remote place, where the ambulance does not reach, is simply excluded! Yes, you can find a nurse and leave the father-in-law in Moscow in her care, but something else is important.

The fact that if the peak of the epidemic in Moscow comes in two weeks, and the beds are in short supply now, then what will happen? And this is far from an isolated case. For example, on the basis of the FSBI “NICC of Cardiology” the Ministry of Health of Russia began: an infection center for patients with COVID - 2019 was launched. But it was needed urgently to re-qualify the entire staff of the Center, consisting of cardiologists, surgeons, and so on... So that the federal cardiology center is urgently re-profiled into an infectious diseases hospital, and its employees into infectious disease specialists!

Is not it like during the fall of 1941, when they rowed everyone into the retreating army, from schoolchildren to professors? And now the same thing: the authorities compensate their disastrous miscalculations at the expense of others! So that later, when the infection can be stopped at the cost of numerous victims, these authorities crawled out of the bunkers to celebrate the Victory!!! Rewarding each other with orders and medals...

And these will be the same people who “optimized medicine” to change borders and slabs a hundred times a year, and produce miracle rockets that nobody needs, putting the country's economy on the brink of disaster.

In 1945 no one dared to ask Stalin about the price of the victory. And now will there appear such brave people? - Nalgin asks.
