The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, who also heads the All-Russian working group of the State Council on countering the spread of coronavirus, announced a shortage of doctors during a meeting of the presidium of the government’s coordinating council to combat the spread of this infection.
“Obviously, we will need additional personnel to ensure all this work. There are no free personnel, it’s also pointless to drag from one region to another ...”, the Moscow mayor said. In his opinion, senior students already have sufficient knowledge and motivation and are able to provide patients with assistance at a decent level, RIA Novosti reports .
A week ago, Sergei Sobyanin said that the Ministry of Defense has already provided assistance to civilian doctors who treat the capital’s patients with the coronavirus COVID-19. Twenty military medical teams were sent to Moscow hospitals.
