According to the expert, Crew Dragon could dock to the International Space Station thanks to Russian components.
“The successful docking of the American spacecraft with the ISS in the automatic mode was carried out, among other things, thanks to the IDA docking adapter, the main structure of which was developed and manufactured at the Roskosmos headquarters under a manned program at the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation”, - Lukashevich said in an interview RIA News.
Last year, on the Roskosmos website, information appeared that Energia, by order of the American company Boeing, developed and created three flight models and four elements for testing the basic design of the IDA docking adapter. At the same time, Boeing itself has already equipped the Russian samples. The first adapter was lost after the emergency launch of the cargo Dragon in 2015, the second Dragon adapter was delivered to the ISS in 2016, the third was replaced in place of the first, it was delivered to Dragon in July last year.
Let us recalll that Crew Dragon, developed by Elon Musk, on May 31 successfully docked with the ISS.

While mankind was following the flight of the American ship, the head of Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin in correspondence with his classmate yearned for Stalin's times.
A couple of days after the historic flight of the Mask ship, the head of the state corporation announced that Roscosmos also had plans. By plans, Rogozin had in mind new hopes for negotiations on the restoration of the "Gagarin launch". Earlier, Rogozin promised to sign an agreement on the reconstruction of this launch pad before the end of 2019.
