US offered Russia to “get out” of the Middle East

It is reported by RIA Novosti. David Schenker also once again voiced the thesis of US President Donald Trump that the administration of the previous president Barack Obama “welcomed the Russians to Syria” to help the country's leader Bashar al-Assad, and this was an erroneous strategy of the White House' part.

Let us recall that since 2015, at the request of the Syrian authorities, the Russian Federation has been providing military assistance to the republic in the fight against terrorism.

Earlier in an interview with NI, an American political scientist Ramis Yunus gave the following assessment of the geopolitical situation in the region:

"From the very beginning of the civil war, the United States and the European Union, together with Turkey, planned to remove Assad, whose hands were stained with blood of a huge number of citizens of his own country. But the mistakes of the Obama administration, his indecision, and then even the more mediocre policy of the current administration of President Trump, who generally distanced himself from solving the problems of Syria, coupled with the toothlessness of the European Union, has led to the fact that today in this region as an opponent of Russia and Iran, there is one Turkey, which is forced to solve the humanitarian problems of almost 4 million Syrian refugees who live in camps in Turkey on the border with Syria, which does not suit Russia, Iran and the regime in Damascus at all".
