The court in The Hague reserved the Schiphol complex for the current trial in 2019. The court hearings are planned to be held from June 8 to July 3, from August 31 to November 13, and also next year, from February 1 to March 26, Interfax writes.
In the case of the plane crash, the defendants are three Russians - Igor Girkin (Strelkov), Sergey Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov, as well as Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko. Earlier, Girkin stated that he was ready to take moral responsibility for the plane crash over the Donbass, since at that time he headed the Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), but the ex-minister does not admit his guilt in the crash, noting that the militias shot down the plane.
A Malaysia Airlines plane was shot down over the territory of southeastern Ukraine, where active hostilities took place. There were 298 people on board, including 80 children. Not a single passenger survived. The suspects in the case are accused of delivering the Buk Russian anti-aircraft gun, the missile of which, according to the investigation, shot down the aircraft.
