A participant of the first Victory Parade was present among the veterans on Red Square

After 75 years, Alexei Kuzhilny visited the Victory Parade of Red Square. He arrived in the capital from the DPR.

Aleksey Kuzhilny, who was among the veterans on the podium in the heart of the Moscow capital today, exactly 75 years ago, at the Victory Day parade in 1945, was part of a special battalion on Red Square and threw out the standards of defeated fascist Germany, the Mash channel reports.

Alexey Kuzhilny went to the front at the age of 16. He took part in the defense of Rostov-on-Don, battles in the Caucasus, Western Ukraine.

The name of the veteran can be found in documents declassified by the FSB. After the archives were made public, it became known that from each front, a consolidated regiment with two-armed battalions, each with 203 people, should go to the Victory Parade. One of them was Alexei Kuzhilny.

He arrived in Moscow from the DPR, where he currently resides.

Let us recall that in Moscow the parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory ended.
