In the official Twitter account of the situation and crisis center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia, a post was published on the sale of a database of Russian tourists who, due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, were or are still abroad and receive payments from the Russian authorities.

In a tweet, they offer to sell the base "Tourists base of the EPG". ”Probably, this is about the basis of a single portal "State Services". The cost of the base was estimated at 66 bitcoins.

“The tweet is available within 12 hours. About two hours after the first message, another appeared, stating that the database has“ more than 115,000 data, including payment details. ”The Foreign Ministry has not yet commented on the account’s hack”, the notes "Jellyfish".

Last summer, the government proposed the idea of a bill to create a single centralized information resource with personal data of Russians, primarily to facilitate the work of tax authorities. But this idea was criticized by the FSB - they talked about the multiple increase in the risks of information leaks. However, the relevant law was adopted.
