Russian woman was detained in Thailand on suspicion of killing her daughter

It is reported by The Pattaya News. The Russian woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. She tried to commit suicide.

In the apartment where she lived, the police found the girl’s body wrapped in a towel and pressed down by the toilet. Law enforcers suggest that the child was severely beaten.

Police officers found two bundles of white powder in the room. The substance was sent to the laboratory for examination.

The Russian woman assures that her husband abused her. However, the owner of the residential complex told police that the tourist lived only with her daughter. A Russian citizen lived in one of the apartment buildings in the Naklya area.

According to the publication, the detainee is in a depressed state. After treatment at a local hospital, she will be taken into custody for further investigation. She will also have to take a test for drug traces in the body.

The police will check the recordings from the surveillance cameras.
