The FSB recognized the data in the case of Ivan Safronov as classified

One conclusion is dated September last year, the second - May this year, TASS reports, citing Safronov’s lawyer Ivan Pavlov.

The lawyer noted that the defense was not allowed to peruse these conclusions yet.

“We did not see these documents, and it is not a fact that we will see them upon the indictment. It’s not enough to write that he transmitted the data. It is necessary to say how, under what circumstances he did it. By now we do not understand what to defend against, the right to defense is violated", - RIA Novosti quotes the lawyer.

The lawyer believes that investigators are trying to hide the connection between suspicion of the high treason and the journalistic activities of Safronov.

Let us recall that the adviser to the head of Roscosmos and the former journalist of Kommersant and Vedomosti, Ivan Safronov, was arrested for two months. He is suspected of transmitting classified data to Czech intelligence agencies. The court session was held behind the losed doors at the request of the state prosecution, the FSB plans to bring in an indictment in final form on July, 13.
