According to the information of the Interior Ministry, 132 people were detained during an unauthorized rally on Strastnoy Boulevard in Moscow.

The action against amendments to the Constitution began in the evening of July 15 in the center of the capital, on Pushkin Square. The participants collected signatures under the lawsuit demanding to cancel the voting results on amendments to the main law of the country, nobody shouted slogans. Later, the protesters began a march towards Petrovka.

- 132 people were brought to the territorial police departments for the proceedings. In relation to them, the issue of bringing to responsibility established by law is being resolved, the State Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The OVD-Info portal counted more detainees - 147, including municipal deputy Yulia Galyamina.

Among the participants of the action was human rights activist Lev Ponomarev and a member of the Public Supervisory Commission Marina Litvinovich. Around 21:00, the first detentions began.

The organizers filed an application for the event, but they were refused on the basis of a decree of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on the high-alert mode.

According to the head of "Open Russia" Anastasia Burakova, the application for the rally to the city administration was filed by the members of the campaign named "NO!"

Earlier it was reported that about five hundred people took part in the protest act.
