The US announced the preparation of a law against "Russian hackers"

This was stated by the leader of the Republican minority Kevin McCarthy. He noted that the Russian Federation is trying to weaken US actions in the fight against the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection.

"The continuing malicious actions of Moscow aimed at weakening our response to the pandemic should not go unanswered. In the coming days, I will introduce a bill to bring these Russian hackers to justice”, - McCarthy wrote on Twitter.

He referred to a publication in The Washington Times that described attempts to gain access to COVID-19 vaccine designs.

Let us recall that Canada, Britain and the United States previously accused Russia of trying to steal vaccine data. The British National Center for Computer Security said that hackers are "almost certainly connected with Russian intelligence services".
