About 600 people were evacuated from the capital's detention facility No. 6 (SIZO No. 6) in the southeast of Moscow; the building caught fire on Monday. The arrested were temporarily placed in other buildings on the territory of the pre-trial detention center.
Rescuers organized at the scene a fire extinguishing headquarters. According to preliminary data, smoke was generated in the production area: either in the bakery or in the room where the mattresses are stored. But there is no open fire on the spot.
“The fire message was received at 16:17 Moscow time. The industrial premises on the first floor of the four-storey building caught fire”, - writes TASS with the reference to the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies.
Information about the victims of the fire has not yet been reported.
