The cost of Russian medicines in pharmacies increased by 23.8%, imported medicines became more expensive by 7.5%.

"The weighted average price of a package of Russian drugs for the year has risen in price to 115 rubles, the price of imported drugs - up to 381 rubles", - appears in the study of the analytical company DSM Group, referred to by TASS.

At the same time, the demand for foreign drugs decreased in terms of revenue by 2.8%, and in terms of the number of units sold - by 9.6%. The sales volumes of domestic drugs decreased by 8.4%, but the volume of proceeds due to the growth in drug prices increased by 13.4%.

Russian drugs, due to the fact that they are cheaper, are bought twice as often, however, due to their low price, the volume of proceeds for foreign drugs sold is twice as high as Russian ones, according to the study. A total of 351.2 million packages of drugs worth 75.4 billion rubles were sold in June, which is 0.2% less than in May this year, and 8.9% less than last year.

For six months, Russians spent 557.9 billion rubles on medicines, which is 13.9% more than a year earlier. Analysts note that more and more expensive drugs appear on the Russian market. “The share of drugs, the cost of which exceeds 500 rubles, increased by 2.5% and amounted to 47%. At the same time, the share of drugs that are sold at prices ranging from 150 to 500 rubles decreased by 2.1% over the year - to 37.8%”, - the study says.

The share of drugs on the market at a price below 150 rubles is about 15%. At the same time, the share of drugs costing less than 50 rubles per year became even lower by 0.6% and amounted to only 3.8%.

Earlier it was noted that Russians' spending on self-isolation on medicines increased by 12%.
