In the Dalmatovsky orphanage in the Kurgan region, an investigation began after the inmates complained about the appalling conditions of detention. The children were quarantined in a room closed with bars, without light, beds or a toilet.

The investigation in the Kurgan region has begun to check the conditions of keeping orphans in the Dalmatovsky orphanage. The reason for the intervention of the security forces was reports in the media, whose employees were told about the humiliating living conditions in the institution.

As one of the inmates of the orphanage told reporters, she ended up in an insulator with bars on the windows, without light, water, toilet and normal beds after she ran away to her mother's home.

“I asked to be taken, in the end they promised me, but they did not keep their promise. Almost no one comes to me until I ask to be taken to the toilet in a big way, but in a small way they tell us to go to the bucket”, - the girl's confession is quoted by Znak.com.

The institution explained that those inmates who run away from the territory of the institution are placed in quarantine in an impromptu isolator in the orphanage.

"During the monitoring of the media , information about the violation of the rights of the inmates of the Dalmatovsky orphanage was revealed. It is indicated that one of the adolescents, who left the institution without permission, reported uncomfortable living conditions and provided a video showing the room where children are placed during quarantine”, - the UK explained.

During the check, the investigators intend to study the work of the institution and give a legal assessment of the legality of the actions of officials who are obliged to create human conditions for the life of orphans in a state institution.
