The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation proposed to reduce the costs of maintaining the State Duma and the Federation Council in 2021-2023 by 1.9 billion rubles.

According to the document "Methodology for calculating the maximum basic budgetary allocations of the federal budget for state programs of the Russian Federation and non-programmatic areas of activity", the cost of maintaining the State Duma is planned to be reduced in 2021 by 2.9% (378 million rubles) - to 12.7 billion rubles. A year later, funding should be cut by 4.5% (577 million rubles) - to 21.1 billion rubles. In 2023 - by 2% (256 million rubles) - up to 12.4 billion rubles.

It is proposed to reduce expenses for the Federation Council in three years in this way: by 3% in 2021, or 217 million rubles, in 2022 - by 4.6%, or 338 million rubles, in 2023 - by 2.4% , or 178 million rubles.

The financing of the Accounts Chamber should also decrease - in 2021 by 2.5% (124.6 million rubles) - to 4.79 billion rubles, in 2022 - by 4.8% (244 million rubles) - to 4.83 billion rubles, in 2023 by 2.9%, (149.3 million rubles) - up to 4.92 billion rubles.

At the same time, the department proposed to increase the costs of the activities of the presidential administration of Russia to 88.8 million rubles. next year. So, in the first six months of this year - during the coronavirus pandemic - the costs of the bureaucracy increased by 20% (to 667 billion rubles).
