Valentin Stefanovich, a representative of the Vesna human rights center, informed about one person killed and injured as a result of the collision of a special vehicle on participants in protest actions in the capital of Belarus after the presidential elections.

- Yes, there is information about one victim. This happened as a result of the collision of special vehicles on the protesters. Three people were seriously injured, one died as a result of a craniocerebral trauma, the human rights activist reports to TASS.

There is no official data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs about the deceased yet.

Telegram channel NEXTA LIVE reported: the victim (pictured) - Evgeny Zaichkin - Belarusian, but constantly lives in Gdansk. Yesterday in Minsk he participated in street riots and was hit by a paddy wagon. Zaichkin is alive and in intensive care in serious condition.

Let us remind you that Vesna stated that more than 140 protesters were detained in the republic.

Protests began in Belarus on the evening of August 9 after polling stations closed. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in the capital. The police used flash bangs and some protesters were injured.

According to state exit polls, Lukashenko typed 82.08% in closed areas in five regions of Belarus, at Tikhanovskaya 6.98%. The turnout in the elections in Belarus was 79%.

Companions of the presidential candidate of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya voiced the results of exit polls conducted by them, which showed that more than 80% of Belarusians voted for Tikhanovskaya.
