Several people claiming to have served in the security forces of Belarus posted a video on Instagram in which they throw out their uniforms.

Yevgeny Novitsky from Logoisk (a satellite city of Minsk) posted a video in which his brother says that he cannot be proud of where he served, and also cannot keep a uniform with a special forces patch in his house. Then he throws the mold into the trash can.

Artyom Blinovich says in his statement that “the Belarusian special forces brotherhood is no longer in Belarus”. After these words, he also throws his beret into the trash can. The video was posted on Instagram with the hashtag military unit 3214 - this is the number of the special forces unit of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

Earlier, the media reported about police officers who do not want to take part in the war against their own people. For example, Dmitry Oreshkin said in an interview with Nastoyascheye Vremya: "Lukashenko will suppress the protest, because the protesters have no weapons. Lukashenko will be able to conquer the country, but I have no idea what Lukashenko will do about it".

Let us remind you that after the start of the protest actions in Belarus, which last from the evening of August 9, the security forces harshly detained citizens. Batons, rubber bullets, stun grenades are used. Two civilians died during the detention and dispersal of protesters. The Ministry of Internal Affairs explains the use of weapons and shooting to kill by necessity. At the same time, the detainees and those whom the security forces beat right on the streets are unarmed.
