Rospotrebnadzor named the regions whose residents received immunity to coronavirus

Rospotrebnadzor, according to RIA Novosti, has already conducted an assessment of population immunity to the new coronavirus in 23 regions of Russia. At the moment, more than 65 thousand tests have been done, and studies are being completed in three regions - another nine thousand tests were carried out there.

In all regions, 2800-3200 people were examined.

We will remind, earlier the head of the laboratory of the "Vector" center, Ilnaz Imatdinov, warned that those citizens who suffered a mild disease are not protected from re-infection. Their immunity only develops for a few months.

To date, 927,745 cases of a new coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Russia. 736,101 patients recovered. 15 740 people died from the disease. Moscow is still in first place in terms of the number of detected cases. Note that back in July, the mayor of the capital, Sergey Sobyanin, said that 60% of Muscovites were immune to coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the first coronavirus vaccine has been registered in Russia. However, the West has already abandoned its use, explaining their mistrust by the insufficient number of participants in the study of the drug.

- Western regulators will never issue a permit for a drug in which only 38 people participated in testing. Russian studies have not demonstrated that this vaccine is really effective, said Sky News, citing the head of the UK government's vaccine working group, Keith Bingham.

The German Ministry of Health also criticized the zeal of the Russian authorities to register the vaccine after only 38 volunteers were tested. And in Russia, doctors are not eager to inject themselves "Sputnik V" - this is the name of the new vaccine. More than half of the Russian health workers surveyed said they would not get the vaccine because they also do not believe in its effectiveness.
