The management of the German clinic Charite, without explaining the reasons, canceled a conference for the media scheduled for August, 25, at which they expected to get the news about the progress of the examination and treatment of the founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Alexey Navalny, who was brought to Berlin from Omsk.
"It (the conference) has been provided, but will not take place", - informs Interfax referring to the press service of the clinic.
Initially, a press conference on the state of Navalny was scheduled for 9 am local time on August 25, but then the organizers refused to hold the event.
Earlier, German doctors said that the results of Navalny's examination indicated that Navalny was poisoned with a cholinesterase inhibitor, and the patient is still in a coma.
However, the Russian doctors who were the first to help the politician do not agree with the conclusions of their German colleagues and rule out the fact of poisoning.
Alexey Navalny felt unwell on August 20 on board a plane flying from Tomsk to Moscow. The board was urgently put in Omsk, where the politician was hospitalized in critical condition in the emergency hospital N1.
At the insistence of the Navalny family, on August 22, accompanied by a medical team, he was taken by plane to Berlin.
