Yefremov's lawyer complained about the threats

The lawyer's appeal says that "constant pressure" is being exerted on him, as well as that he "receives threats and demands to stop protecting Yefremov".

- At the present time, as I learned from friends and from online resources, some nominees have applied to law enforcement authorities about bringing me to the criminal responsibility, - interfax quotes Pashayev's words.

The lawyer stressed that he was a law-abiding citizen and had not committed any crimes.

- The threat of criminal prosecution for expressing my own opinion and the opinion of my client creates a kind of atmosphere of fear, in which I, as a lawyer, protecting the interests of the client, at the same time have to take care of my own safety. This makes the work of a lawyer less effective, - Pashayev complained and asked to conduct an inspection on the fact stated in the appeal.

Let us recall that a few days ago, Yefremov, accused of a fatal accident, decided to refuse Pashayev's services, citing a desire to get lawyers "stronger". Yefremov refused Pashayev's services on Friday, but on Monday signed a new agreement with him.

Previously, Pashayev was suspected of bribing the witnesses.
