It turns out that there is no longer any bullying, grandfatherism or barrack hooliganism in Russia. The Ministry of Defense said that both had been eradicated, and the desire to do military service among citizens grew.

Deputy Defense Minister Andrei Kartapolov, during his speech at the round table of the Amriya-2020 International Military-Technical Forum, noted “the rightly chosen direction of joint actions to establish statutory order in the armed forces, which resulted in a significant reduction in the number of military crimes, this concept has been completely eradicated as "bullying" and "barracks hooliganism", reports TASS.

In turn, the head of the Main Directorate of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel-General Sergey Kuralenko, indicated that such a positive result was achieved with the help of preventive work aimed at preventing crimes and suppressing disciplinary offenses.

One gets the impression that the country's military leadership is in a parallel universe where all the soldiers are safe.

At the same time, we will remind, previously guilty of bullying the soldier Ramil Shamsutdinov, they decided not to punish severely. Ruslan Mukhatov, who, with regular bullying, brought the conscript to the point that he took a weapon and shot eight colleagues, was given a suspended sentence.

The lawyer of Shamsutdinov, who was a victim in this case, pointed out that in the unit where his client served, there was "terrible hazing", and the soldiers "were regularly subjected to bullying".
