Former police officers in Yakutia convicted of torturing a disabled person

This is reported by the Investigative Directorate of the RF IC for the region. According to the investigation, on October 6, 2018 drunk Aleksandrov and Kutovoy arrived at the house of a citizen with disabilities. They began to beat him for refusing to testify about the alleged illegal possession of hunting weapons. It is known that Aleksandrov hit the victim in the thigh with a stun gun at least five times.

On the same day, the victim sought medical help. Later, the police began to threaten him, and he was forced to write a statement to terminate the check at his request.

Nevertheless, Aleksandrov was sentenced to four years in prison in a general regime colony. Kutovoy was sentenced to a suspended sentence of three and a half years with the same probationary period. Both of them were deprived of their special titles and the right to work in law enforcement agencies for two years.

Aleksandrov was fired from the authorities at the stage of the preliminary investigation. Kutovoy was removed from work after the announcement of the guilty verdict. None of them admitted their guilt.
