The first batch of Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine will be shipped to the regions in the nearest future. Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, announced that vaccination of the citizens should begin this week.

The department pointed out that the developed by the Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamaleya of the Ministry of Health of Russia Gam-Covid-Vak - aka Sputnik V vaccine - passed all the necessary tests in the laboratories of Rospotrebnadzor and was released into the civilian circulation.

- In the near future are expected first deliveries of vaccines parties in the regions, - noted in the ministry.

Note that the vaccine will be produced in two versions. A light version will be developed for children with fewer side effects.

The vaccines will be of two categories: for adults and for children. For children, it will be more gentle and less reactogenic, - said the professor of the Center named after N. F. Gamaleya Alexander Butenko in an interview with Sputnik radio.

Note that the Russian Federation became the first country to register a vaccine against covid. However, the world reacted coldly to the achievement of Russian scientists, believing that the tests carried out were not enough.

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and a number of regional officials have already been vaccinated.

On September 2, it became known that about 15 employees aged 70-80 years of the center. The Gamalees have been vaccinated with a new vaccine. The 68-year-old head of the center, Alexander Gintsburg, was also vaccinated against the coronavirus.

In addition, Russia claims another primacy in vaccine development. This time we are talking about a vaccine against African swine fever, which has turned into a deadly epidemic for animals in many regions of the country. According to domestic scientists, the drug may be ready by the end of next year.
