“My father is a very honest man, I can say that right away, without any doubt.

He is purposeful, he always goes forward, no matter what. He always goes his own way.

These are probably his best qualities.

I think my father is a great person. My father is worthy of respect.

He always does everything purposefully. With the head.

I learned about the arrest on the morning of the 9th (July - note "NI") from close relatives. The day before, my father and I met.

My father did not tell me that he might have some problems. Apparently, this is due to the fact that he did not want to scare me.

... There is a complete blockade and our letters, letters from our family do not reach him.

And we give the parcels to the father, that is, he has everything he needs, we supply everything he asks for.

Khabarovsk residents themselves convey something. Now I was in Moscow and some of the packages were returned to me. I will save all this and then pass it on to my father.

We have a team of six lawyers. They are doing his business, making a line of defense...

Most importantly, they are now unable to communicate something to the public. This is their chosen line of defense.

They protect my father and I believe that they will pull him out, that he will return home to the Khabarovsk Territory.

These six lawyers are highly qualified lawyers. I completely trust them. They showed their best side.

I, unfortunately, will not call them by their last names, but I know them. If they want, they will go on air themselves.

I understand their line of defense. Anything that goes on air can hurt my father, so they don't say anything about it.

I think this is the right decision. They report to our family about the work done.

As for the fund, this is what my aunt, Galina Ivanovna, is doing (this is about the fund for helping to raise funds for lawyers for Sergey Furgal, as the ex-governor's accounts have been arrested and his family is unable to pay for these services - note "NI"). One of these days she will go on the air and give a full report for every penny sent. This money only goes to lawyers.

Decisions on hiring one or another lawyer are made by my family, collectively.

I repeat that all protection actions are under the control of our family.

We are not allowed to meet with our father, our letters are not given to our father, they do not reach him.

We, the family, can only say a big thank you to Khabarovsk and to Russia as a whole, for the fact that people believe, trust, and help in every way.

These people are just heroes, just great. Real defenders of my father!"
