Kosachyov called the condition for the reliability of the OPCW's conclusions in the "Navalny case"

Germany must prove the origin of the substances transferred to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and their connection with the reasons for what happened to Alexey Navalny.

But Berlin offers to take on faith his version of what happened, said the head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachyov.

- So far, all ties have been severed in the link "Navalny - poisoning - Novichok - Russia" And without confirmation of these connections, the conclusions of the OPCW (and there is no doubt that they have transmitted "what is needed", and the conclusions are predetermined), they will likewise have no credibility and no force. Germany and their allies are cynically pocketing this organization. And all of us together with her, - wrote Kosachyov on his Facebook.

Thus, he reacted to the statement of the German side that the samples of Navalny's samples were transferred to the OPCW, as well as to the fact that Berlin sees no reason to transfer this data directly to the Russian Federation.

- In the OPCW there are some chemicals or the results of their analyzes. They are accompanied by a one-sided German version that is associated with Navalny. The connection could be proved only through cooperation with the Russian side, doctors in the first place. It is not there in principle, - stated Kosachyov, adding that "this is the first and surest sign of a possible fraud".

According to the senator, a second version is also possible, in which the substances are "tied" to Navalny - his clothes, the bottle from which he drank - already in Germany.

"Or they are simply fabricated even without problems (for example, they were brought from the USA for shipment). Both the first and second versions are equally absurd and phantasmagoric. But now both must be checked, everything else is simply indecent and unacceptable", - says Kosachyov.

He is confident that Berlin is now obliged to prove not only the composition, but also the origin of the toxic substances, which, according to German doctors, were found in Navalny's body.

- Burden of proof after the "officialization" of the first version on it. Equally is the proof of the injustice of the second. And as long as the Germans (or whoever is behind them) offer us all to accept the first version on faith and, of course, just as unfoundedly reject the second, they are untenable. And any discussions with the OPCW are meaningless, the senator said, stressing that he did not expect this from modern Berlin.

Let us recall that on the eve of the German Ministry of Defense announced the transfer of the results of Alexey Navalny's samples to the OPCW experts.

- The results of the samples were transferred to the organization (OPCW). Russia is a member of this organization - TASS reports the words of a representative of the German department.

The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Germany Martina Fitz noted that in this regard, Berlin does not see the conditions under which the German side is obliged to transfer to Moscow evidence of its conclusions in the "Navalny case".

“We remain at our position and call on the Russian side to provide information (on Navalny),” - she said.

Let us recall that on September 2, the German authorities, referring to the findings of the Bundeswehr laboratory, announced that Navalny had been poisoned with a chemical from the Novichok group. Moscow, however, casts doubt on the fact of the politician's poisoning.

Two days later, NATO demanded that Russia disclose materials about the production of Novichok.

We note that the German media later announced that Navalny was poisoned by a certain new type of poison "Novichok", which was not previously known and at the same time is more deadly than its other types. One of the Newbie Developers called it "bullshit".
