The Central District Court of Novosibirsk arrested for two months all the leaders of the Krasnoyarsk religious organization named the Church of the Last Testament: Sergey Torop, Vadim Redkin and Vladimir Vedernikov. On the eve it was reported about their detention.

"Decision of the Central District Court of 23 September against the accused Vedernikov a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 2 months, ie until November 22, 2020", - Interfax reports the words of assistant court Alena Zubova chairman.

Torop and Redkin were also arrested until November 22.

Let us remind you that Sergey Torop, who called himself Vissarion and claimed to be the embodiment of Jesus Christ, together with two other leaders - Vadim Redkin and Vladimir Vedernikov - was detained yesterday, on Tuesday.

In February, we will remind, representatives of the Church of the New Testament announced that the community was being searched by investigators in the framework of criminal cases of corruption and fraud against the leadership of Istoki, where children of community members study.

The arrests were carried out by officers of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Investigators conducted searches of the homes of the detainees.
