Ministry of Happiness will appear in Kamchatka

"I am motivated by a great result, and the main criterion for achieving this result for me, albeit somewhat philosophically, is the happiness of people. On the one hand, happiness cannot be measured, but on the other hand, I am deeply convinced that just such a global moral benchmark should be among the leaders of the regions...", - said Solodov.

He noted that the most important task is to make people happy and prosperous - to be engaged "not just in solving problems that have become painful".

"I am now carrying out a reform of the authorities of the Kamchatka Territory, and we decided to create a Ministry of Happiness. Officially, its full name is the Ministry of Social Welfare and Family Policy, but in short it is about happiness. It is important for me to make this transition, to get away from "the ministry of the offended and disadvantaged", - the governor said.

Also, in the course of the reform that Solodov spoke about, it is planned to enlarge five ministries, transform the ministries of two agencies and abolish six authorities.

Let us recall that Solodov won the gubernatorial elections on September 13, 2020. Prior to that, he served as the head of the region.
