Pashinyan again discussed with Putin the conflict in Karabakh

This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the Kremlin press service. They stressed that the confrontation in the region is large-scale, this leads to serious losses on both sides. Putin called on to urgently end hostilities.

Recall that this is the fourth telephone conversation between Pashinyan and the Russian president since the escalation of the conflict on September 27. At the same time, it has not yet been reported about the negotiations between Putin and the head of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev after this date.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov announced the possibility of bringing Russian peacekeepers to Karabakh within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. He commented on this prospect, specifying that the Kremlin can do this only with the consent of both sides - Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Armenian government called such a scenario unlikely, since Azerbaijan did not agree to this in 1994 either. Note that the Azerbaijani army is better armed than the Armenian, and stronger in general. The authorities of the republic have already announced the capture of a number of settlements. Azerbaijan is supported by Turkey.
