Two suspected air leaks have been identified in the Russian Zvezda module on the International Space Station, the crew said during talks with Earth.

"Now there are two alleged zones (leaks) ... Therefore, the idea is such that for today's night shooting (with GoPro cameras) these two places are looked at with passion", - RIA Novosti quotes the words of a specialist from the Moscow Region Mission Control Center, said to the Russian cosmonauts.

The MCC specialist noted that the first possible air leak is in the area of the broadband communication system, and the second is in the area of the pipelines. The first could be identified earlier by the movement of dust particles recorded by the GoPro camera.

Let us recall that another leak was revealed in early September. At first, the station lost 270 g of air per day, after which the loss increased to 1.4 kg of air per day. The crew closed the hatches in the ISS modules twice to check their tightness, and spent several days in isolation in the Russian segment of the station.

According to experts, there is always a small air leak on the ISS, it is associated with the operation of air purification systems from carbon dioxide, drying of the atmosphere and temperature changes. The drop in pressure on the docked Soyuz spacecraft was recorded two years ago - then a microcrack was discovered in the side compartment.
