The fact that Russian obligations within the framework of the CSTO do not apply to the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

"If a member country of the CSTO is subjected to some kind of aggression, attacked from the outside, in this case, the country's contractors have an obligation to stand up for such a state", - Interfax quotes Peskov's words.

He pointed out that the information about the transition of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh to the Armenian territory does not correspond to reality.
