Recently, strange people with bags on their heads could be seen in the Moscow metro and electric trains of the Moscow region. As it turned out - this is a resident of the Moscow region Maxim and his family.
At the end of May, Maxim developed and constructed a special device to protect himself and his family from coronavirus. And the "bag on the head" is just the tip of the iceberg.
The bag itself is not made of ordinary polyethylene, as it might seem, but of a durable ultra-transparent material with a transparency of more than 98% - almost like glass. There are no eye, mouth or nose openings in the package. Clean air is supplied through special thin tubes in the neck area, and exhaust air exits through small technological holes at the top. There is a slight overpressure inside the transparent hood and air from the outside never gets inside. The bags are disposable and cost less than a medical mask.
Now about the device itself for air filtration. Maxim calls it USB Air Purifier, in Russian it is simply a USB air purifier. As the name implies, the device is powered from any power source with a USB connector - power banks, laptops, tablets, car and conventional chargers. There is a motor inside the device that drives the outside air through a special filter from the gas mask and is fed through the tubes to the breathing zone. Filters are manufactured in Russia, meet all GOST (all-Union State Standard) standards and provide 99.95% air purification.
Thus, "strange people in bags" breathe the cleanest air without dust, smog, viruses and bacteria. They can afford to safely use public transport, metro, electric trains and even flew by plane.
The price of freedom and security is the strange appearance and sidelong glances of others. Is it worth it or not - everyone decides for himself.
