Suspect in shooting near Nizhny Novgorod found dead

"A body was found... Not far from the place where everything happened", - a source in the regional Investigative Committee told RIA Novosti.

From the words of the interlocutor of the agency, it follows that the suspect committed suicide.

The body was found in a forest near the outskirts of the village of Bolsheorlovskoye, where the shooting took place the day before.

According to the investigation, the suspect arrived in the village on October 12 to visit his grandmother. On the same day, a quarrel broke out between the relatives, and the grandson shot at the grandmother with a gun, and then continued shooting in the yard and at the Bolshiye Eagli bus stop.

"He started shooting with the grandmother, she has a bullet in the stomach and arm. Then he shot in the back of a man who was passing by the door, and then went behind the house and began shooting at random people", - said one of the witnesses to NN.RU.

Other eyewitnesses said that after the suspect "killed a neighbor who ran to help, he killed another from the back and went to the bus stop, where he opened sporadic fire".

"There, too, he opened fire and killed another person, and wounded three. Then he fled towards the forest", - said another source of the publication.

The entrances to the village were blocked immediately after the incident.
