NYT: Navalny was poisoned twice

The publication reports about this, referring to anonymous representatives of the German special services.

The article mentions that experts in Berlin found traces of Novichok on a bottle that FBK employees allegedly took out of the hotel room where Navalny was staying.

- This suggests that Navalny was in contact with the poison before arriving at the airport, or, perhaps, he was poisoned twice, the authors of the material write.

At the same time, one of the creators of the Novichok battle poison, Leonid Rink, called the statements made in this publication “bullshit”.

"All fluoroanhydrides who are "Novices", they hate water, they are hydrolyzed", - RIA Novosti quotes the words of the expert.

Rink explained that the toxin would quickly lose its properties.

Let us recall that according to the original version, Navalny drank tea at the Tomsk airport, which contained poison. But after the German authorities announced that Novichok had been found in the oppositionist’s analyzes, FBK employees posted a video from the issue on Navalny’s Instagram page showing bottles of water that they had allegedly taken to Berlin for research. They said that German experts had found Novichok on the bottle.

The NYT has published a list of Russian officials who have come under sanctions in connection with the Navalny case. According to the newspaper, the sanctions list includes the head of the FSB Gennady Bortnikov, the first deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kiriyenko, and two deputy defense ministers of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu. All of them will be banned from entering the territory of the European Union, and also banned from using European assets. Earlier on the announced sanctions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov promised to respond "in a mirror".

Alexey Navalny got sick on the plane from Tomsk to Moscow. From the intensive care unit of the Omsk hospital, where he was taken after an emergency landing of the liner, Navalny was taken to the Berlin clinic Charite.
