"The protesters in Bishkek have left for the regions. All protest actions have ended", - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Orozaliyev told Interfax.

He specified that at present the parliament has canceled the curfew and the state of emergency introduced earlier.

"By evening, checkpoints and military equipment will be removed", - said Orozaliyev.

Today the acting Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said that elections for the head of the republic will take place before January 10, 2021.

On October 14, demonstrators demanded Jeenbekov's resignation. The president explained that he does not hold on to power and is ready to resign. Later, he wrote a corresponding statement, noting that peace in the country and the life of each compatriot is most precious to him.
