New rules for purchasing OSAGO came into force

The changes should not affect the price of the policy - the cost of OSAGO (third-party only insurance) calculated through the platform will correspond to the price on the official portal of the insurance company. The marketplace will not charge commission for registration.

Recall that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed two laws on financial marketplaces, allowing citizens to remotely compare and buy services of banks, management and insurance companies.

As for OSAGO, the new rules for calculating this type of insurance entered into at the end of August. Insurance companies can now enter and take into account personality factors when determining the rate for each driver. The maximum amount of the maximum insurance premium under the OSAGO agreement will remain limited. To calculate it, you can use a special calculator posted on the website of the insurer.

We also remind that from October 1, car owners must again receive a diagnostic card for the car. Until September 30, this need was removed.
