The academician called on the church, schools and the media to fight against "anti-vaccination"

He stated this at the round table of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, dedicated to vaccination.

"The state should bear the costs of organizing and conducting a campaign against anti-vaccination propaganda. It is necessary to allocate special funds to promote vaccine prevention", - quotes Interfax the words of Briko.

The academician is sure that it is necessary to involve representatives of different "religious confessions in the promotion of vaccinations to preserve health and life by conducting conversations with parishioners, printed publications and in other ways".

Nikolay Briko proposed to oblige print publications and electronic media to create headings dedicated to vaccination and organize a special channel in the country where they will talk about the benefits of vaccinations. In addition, the chief epidemiologist proposed “to highlight the achievements of immunization among children and schoolchildren, to include this information in the school course in biology, social studies and other disciplines”, in the tasks of the All-Russian and regional Olympiads.

He noted the need for questionnaires among Russian physicians and citizens to study the "commitment of medical workers, various groups of the population to immunization." He specified that the ministry is "in the process of fulfilling this task".

Dmitry Morozov, head of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, supported Briko on almost all points. He noted that it is necessary to focus on ensuring that citizens have enough reliable information about vaccine prevention.

Let us recall that many experts opposed an early and massive vaccination against coronavirus.

“I am against the use of the COVID vaccine, which is appearing so rapidly in our lives, and which is being developed against all the classic accepted rules of development and clinical research”, - wrote, in particular, the expert of the medical channel NeMinzdrav, pointing out that the number of “investigated in Russia negligible".
