The defendants in the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of theagainst the former mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkaryov, 2 of his accomplices and 6 enterprises controlled by his family executed the decision of the Soviet District Court to collect 1.452 billion rubles of corruption income into the federal budget.

Reported by IA PrimaMedia.

According to Aleksey Sysoyev, General Director of Vostokcement LLC, in order to prevent stoppages of the enterprises and pay the claim, the enterprise had to work "within the framework of the most severe economy".

"We sold property that had not been previously seized as an interim measure for the claim and was not involved in the production process. We received a loan from a commercial bank, for which it was required to pledge all our assets, and in full transferred the amount of the claim to the budget of the Russian Federation", - added Sysoyev.

Earlier, on March 3, the Sovetsky District Court of Vladivostok reduced the amount recovered from Pushkaryov and his companies from 3.3 billion rubles to 1.4 billion rubles.

Let us recall that Pushkaryov, accused of corruption, has been in custody since June 2016. In November 2017, he made the decision to resign of his own accord.
