Putin promised not to introduce strict quarantine on coronavirus

“Regarding complex total restrictive measures: we do not plan to do this and the government has no plans to do this”, - the president announced during a meeting with members of the board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

He also noted that it is necessary to roll out vaccination against coronavirus infection throughout the country, as well as take precautions.

In addition, the head of state said that the increase in the number of deaths with the detected covid in Russia is associated with a more accurate fixation of the causes of death.

Note that the members of the union's board of directors addressed Putin with a request not to impose strict quarantine. The owner of Severstal, Alexey Mordashov, suggested limiting ourselves to targeted measures where necessary. He believes that tough measures will be detrimental to small and medium-sized businesses.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities are not going to introduce a non-working week regime, as it was done in April. Note that at a meeting between Putin and members of the government about the absence of the need for new quarantine measures, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that "the situation is manageable".

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that the introduction of total quarantine in the capital was unacceptable. However, a third of employees in the city are recommended to be sent to a remote location.
