“Despite the announcement of a new humanitarian ceasefire from October 26, 8:00, the Armenian armed forces again grossly violated the agreement reached”, - the statement of the Azerbaijani department says .
The Defense Ministry assured that Azerbaijan, for its part, fully complies with the terms of the truce.
It should be reminded that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated that the country would never agree to hold a referendum on self-determination in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the war was started only in order to change the legal status of Karabakh. He believes that the country could have avoided war only if it voluntarily renounced the disputed territory. Pashinyan called on the people of Armenia to "take up arms and fight to the last". Armenia does not exclude recognition of the independence of Karabakh if it stops the war. The country is ready to make concessions, but only if they are not unilateral.
The military conflict resumed on 27 September.
