The German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung published letters from readers expressing dissatisfaction with the behavior and statements of the Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny, who is being treated at the Berlin clinic "Charite".

One of their readers , Wolfgang Heinz, accused Navalny of abusing the right of a guest. He pointed out the insult to the former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, expressed by Navalny.

“As a guest of our country, in my opinion, he has no right to interfere in our internal politics,” the reader notes in his address.

In addition, Heinz condemned the Russian for nationalist and xenobian statements.

Another reader, Peter Fendt, stood up for the ex-chancellor and recalled that Schroeder revived the German economy and defended the country's interests. He also pointed out that Germany "should be maximally interested in good relations with Russia."

Residents of Neustadt-Coburg, Wolfram Salzer urged not to imitate the Russian oppositionist who opposed the implementation of Nord Stream 2, and advised the German government not to look into Navalny's mouth. According to him, the oppositionist "justifies overt xenophobia." The German reminded him of Navalny's statements that allegedly every second serious crime in Moscow is committed by migrants, as well as his participation in the "Russian march" organized by nationalists.

- If in Russia he speaks with pride about such activities, in the West he at the same time prefers to keep quiet about it, - Saltser emphasized.

Recall that Navalny felt bad on August 20 on board the plane flying from Tomsk to Moscow. The plane was urgently landed in Omsk, the paramedic of the arrived ambulance gave Alexei Navalny an injection of antidote.

After that he was transported from the Omsk hospital to the Berlin clinic "Charite" by special board. In Germany, he was awarded the status of Angela Merkel's "guest of the chancellor".

After recovering, Navalny began to call on Europe to impose sanctions against the inner circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Merkel advised to introduce a ban on entry into the country for Russian "oligarchs and high-ranking officials."
